Well now that Wintersday has come to a close I cant help but wonder... what's coming next? It's still months before the next chapter... so any ideas? More events? Double weekends? Or if Gaile cares to respond: any new features?

Dragon Festival will come again, I guess, maybe even Day of the Tengu. And they can give me another double green weekend or something if they want.

You know what we got last year after Wintersday? (Not right after, alright? Like 2 weeks later)

We got the first piece of information on Factions.

So.....I'm expecting some info on Chapter 4 to be available next week. But....I'm not holding my breath here though.

I hope they will wait some with the next chapter. And I somehow suspect that they will.

First, the skills rebalance.

Once searing flames and spiritual pain get nerfed, there will be fun for the whole family, as we listen to heart-breaking stories of Anet destroying its game, about PvPers being made useless and how the game is now just pointless.

One month later, random trolls will be making all caps posts about how the new, although by then 1 month old rebalance patch, destroyed them, about how Blizzard is the best ever, and how they are quitting GW in disgust.

This will be followed by a few double and triple weekends, shortly followed by Ch. 4 announcement and Ch. 4 preview.

But above all, there will be much crying (again) in coming month.

How odd (not) a crying post about crying.

Back to actual topic .. why do we need a "next" already? I can't be the only noob that hasn't taken all characters through nightfall yet.

nightfall has halloween and wintersday and had different items/hats every time, so nightfall had his own event.

No. I think they meant that so far Factions is the only chapter to have an event exclusive for it.
Nightfall shared Halloween and Wintersday with Prophicies.

Um, I have 10 char and only Whisper is thru all 3 games with all missions at masters/bonus, all quests, all elites, etc - so there is plenty of fun remaining (not to mention getting more into PVP). I don't see how anyone can run out of things to do if you truly enjoy playing diff builds and learning the ins and outs of all the diff professions.

When are you going to get it?
-Elona is party of Tyria
-Wintersday and Mad King's Return are Tyrian holidays
-Cantha is no part of Tyria
-Wintersday and Mad King's Return are no Canthan holidays

Cantha's got Day of the Tengu and the Dragon Festival.

I tried taking my Elementalist and Ranger through Nightfall. I became bored after finishing Koruna.

You can only repeat content for so long...

That's why I quit. PvP is what's going to make or break Guild Wars. If either the mid-Jaunary skill balance or Hero battles becomes interesting (either is unlikely), I'll come back.

LOL, I did pvp till rank 10 then guess what ... got BORED. And it hasn't been a long time Nightfall is less than 3 months old. For crying outloud we were stuck in Tyria for how long? I have collected enough yuletide tonics to stand in town as an elf till next year. I am ready for boredom!

meh info on C4 or not, I am happy enough with NF and I still need to get my war and ranger to get through NF, then there is still going for a glad title(3 points woot), basically, what I am saying is I still have plenty to enjoy, I can tide myself over until the next chapter.

I'll be generally stuck on Nightfall until I kill Mallyx with my own hands, but I certainly wouldn't reject any information on Chapter 4 in the meanwhile.

If only I were in a guild that regularly GvG'd. Boy I miss those days, that would keep me interested indefinitely.
